Members and friends of Cornton Baptist Church are enjoying services and meetings back in their newly renovated and extended church. The project although not quite completed has been a great success with everyone thrilled with the new look building. Fund raising continues though towards the work and the latest effort is the sale of a CD ‘Live the Vision’.

In October 2007 church member Bob McQueen decided to direct and produce a CD to boost the Church Building Fund. He says ‘I was overwhelmed by the support of musicians, vocalists and others who were not members of Cornton Baptist but have meaningful connections with the Church in many different ways and were keen to help.’ For many hours and days and weeks the project to produce the CD has been worked out. Gilbert Speirs, a friend of the Church, runs Dayspring Studios in Muthill. He recorded the tracks and mastered the mix for us with Bob overseeing all that went on.

The result, after many, many long hours is a superb 13 – Track CD which represents the skills and expertise of the contributors and the production team and will bring Praise and Honour to God’s Name. There is a mix of instrumental pieces as well as those with beautiful voices.
