The recently completed building work has cost us in the region of £350,000. We have done well to raise most of this with a loan required to finish it off. Indeed since the the work was completed we have paid off a third of the loan as well - praise God. This has been achieved primarily through our own members and friends of the church who are giving sacrificially to the work. We have also received some external grants and a number of our fellow Baptist churches throughout Scotland have contributed towards this. We are extremely grateful to all these people for their support and encouragement.

But there is much more to do as we seek to clear the loan quickly and we are holding various fundraising activities from time to time and we would encourage you to support us at these. During the last year we have had a Strawberry Tea and a Barbeque, as well as a few lunches and a quiz. We also held a car boot sale, a car treasure hunt and ceilidh with the award winning Gordon Shand Ceilidh Band. Have a look at some of the photographs of the various fund raisers here.
