Are you passionate about sharing the love of Christ with others, seeking to see those within and out-with a local church community grow more Christ-like?
Cornton Baptist Church is a Bible believing, Christ-centred Church based on the northern outskirts of Stirling, in Cornton. Our morning Sunday service sees around 130 people joining in person, while more than 50 join our evening service, with a number of others joining online. We are drawn from a variety of backgrounds, and from all ages and stages of life.
The church is at the heart of a diverse community which includes, in close proximity, nursery, schools, university, local authority housing and private housing schemes and HMP Stirling Prison.
The church has continued to grow in recent times, and has benefited from an Associate Pastor working alongside the Pastor in developing links with the community and supporting existing ministries of the church. We rejoice in the calling of our existing Associate Pastor to a new role within our family of churches, and as a result, we have an exciting role for someone who feels strongly called into the ministry to support our Pastor and Deacons, to continue to grow existing ministries as well as take advantage of new outreach opportunities. particularly within our community and among our young people. This would be ideal for someone who wishes to see God’s Kingdom extended through recognising and building up the gifts in others whilst seeking to utilise their own talents.
This is 35 hours a week post, recognising that there will be weekend work as well as an expectation that there will be time spent working some evenings.
Salary dependent upon experience.
There is an occupational requirement for the post-holder to be a practising Christian in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
Closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 28 August 2026.
